Leppardra's Art Gallery
Hi all. My artwork's ready to be posted at this site. All I need is somebody to tell me how to do it. :D

You know I have a similar site to Wilykat's so I hope he will forgive me if I help out a bit around here. In order for you to post a pic here, you first need a gallery. It could be anything from Photobucket, Deviant Art, FileHive, even the galleries from Return to Thundera and EOT. I know you have Photobucket Leppardra so I know you know how to upload photos so we can skip that part. Right now I'll tell you how to post an image here. 1. Find the pic you have uploaded to your Photobucket gallery and right click on it. This will result in a drop down menu. 2. Go all the way down to the word Properties and click on that. This will send you to a new solid window with information on that pic. 3. Find "Address " It should look like http://nameofart/images/4756485465 or something like that. 4. Copy that url. To do this hold the right click button down and run your cursor over the url until it is all high lighted. Release the button then left click on the highlighted section and click "Copy" from the drop down menu. 5. Go to the page you want to display the art and start your topic. When you are ready to put the image on, type (I have put a space between / and image so it doesn't mess up my post.) The pic information should look similar to this: < img>http://yourpicname/images/3738376383473 (Again I put in some spaces so that you could see what it should look like. In actuality, there should be no spaces at all) You're done! After you hit submit, your post should have your pretty picture up there, ready for complimants. Hope that helped. ;)

It does, but the process looks a little too complicated for me at the moment and Kat said he could show me how to link my drawings from one site to another. Do you know how to do that? I'd rather use my work from my gallery at Eye of Thundera since it's already posted there, and it'll save me the trouble of registering at another site. :) And I'm curious about FireHive. I still want to post pics at your site too, but if I register at FireHive, do I have to use my username and password so you'll know it's me? :?:

Linking is basically the same process as posting an image, but if Kat knows a better way, then that is awesome. As for file hive, you don't have to register with the same name if you don't want to, but if you do want to use it, you do need a user name and a password. Now let me explain a bit about File Hive. It is not directly linked to forum sites, it is a seperate hosting site like Photobucket or Deviant art. I have no control over Filehive which means that I can do nothing in there but upload images myself and use them in posts. I do know that the gallery at EOT is connected but that is because the leaders of EOT pay for the service each year, that is why they have control of it. As far as I know, image galleries cannot be directly connected to free forums.
